Hill Running is a traditional event at Highland Games, used by Clan Chiefs to select their swiftest messenger. The Helensburgh & Lomond Highland Games' Hill Race is an arduous event, over rough terrain. We will see athletes attempt to cover a rough distance of about 7.7km (4.78 miles), rising 354 meters to the top of Tom na h-Airidh which can be seen from the Games arena.
